On Saturday afternoon, April 9, a woman from Little Rock died in an all-terrain vehicle accident in St. Francis County.
According to Arkansas State Police the accident happened at around 4. 30 p.m. as the ATV was traveling west in the 500 block of St. Francis County Road 254 near Colt. Kimberly Wilson-Bass, aged 30 of Little Rock was a passenger on the Polaris ATV when the back left wheel came off. The vehicle then went out of control and ejected both the driver and Wilson Bass. She was taken to a hospital in Forrest City where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the ATV, 37 year old James Bonds, of Forrest City was taken to a hospital for treatment but his current condition is unknown.
The accident is still under investigation and police say that the weather and road conditions were clear and dry at the time of the accident.
